Kirstie Pickles

Kirstie is a Vetlife Trustee and is chair of the 2024 Vetlife neurodiversity campaign. She is an autistic vet with over 25 years' experience in practice and academia and has a passion for veterinary mental health and neurodiversity. As well as specialist equine medicine training, she has also undertaken a postgrad certificate in counselling skills, MHFA instructor training, National Autism Trainer status and a coaching qualification. She is currently juggling small animal ambulatory practice, a coaching/mentoring role at Harper Keele Vet School and her own neurodiversity and mental health consultancy business, Unedited Minds.
